Blessing Pictures

I took a few pictures of Dragon in his blessing outfit. This was a chance for me to try out the new umbrella lights Kent got me. I love them! I think they really help get that 'professional' look for staged photos and I am pleased with how the pictures turned out.

The girls were a huge help in this endeavor as Savannah held up Dra while Samantha stood behind me shaking keys to get his attention. I look at these pictures and get a calm feeling but then I remember the chaos that was going on while I took them (jangling of keys, Savannah's acrobatics trying to keep Drae upright and happy, Kent III wanting to help and getting in the way) and I just can't help but laugh. :)

Anyway... Here are more pictures than you probably wanted to see... :)

These ones are a bit blurry, however, Drae just looked so happy in them I had to share. :)

And this picture certainly doesn't convey a feeling of peace, however, I wanted to show you that Dragon is getting his two bottom teeth. 4 months old and getting teeth! Crazy!

Decorated Locker

Since Savannah's birthday was on a Sunday I decided to decorate her locker today, the Monday after. Kent III and Dragon went with me to the school and Kent III was especially helpful taping the stars to the inside and outside of her locker. :)

Savannah really likes Jeffrey Donovan (plays Michael Weston on 'Burn Notice') so I printed off a few pictures of him and taped them up on the inside of her locker. :) She actually didn't need to go to her locker during the day and only saw it all decorated when she had to get into it after school. She said I was a nut and that it was embarrassing I had him 'talking' to her. Not embarrassing that I put the pictures up in her locker, but that they were 'talking' to her. *shrug* Go figure. :)

Decorating Savannah's locker on her birthday is a fun tradition I hope to continue until she graduates. :) And this year, I will get to decorate Samantha's too! Although I will have to decorate it on her half birthday in January. :)
