The Happy Couple

Last week, my niece posted the following status on facebook:

"My X-Box 360 is gettin' married!
She was proposed to with the Red Ring! Hooray! And she timed this wedding so perfectly, just two days after I bought Gear of War 3! Yay for technology! I freakin LOVE it...!"

Haha :)

My brother and his family were going out of town so I was asked to take her X-Box to the repair shop here in town.  (At the same time, I also dropped off their second X-Box for repairs because the cd-rom was sticking.)

It so happened I picked up the X-Boxes when they were finished being repaired but before I returned the game consoles I snapped a picture to text to her.

Tee hee hee! :) :) :)

I make my own fun. :)

My niece is not getting married. :) She is 15. :) (Her X-box isn't getting married either. ;) :D)

The X-box power button has a small ring around the outside of the circle. (You can see it below the bow tie and above the flowers.) When an X-box has technical problems that ring glows different colors depending on the problem the X-box is facing. When the ring glows red, it is often called the "Red Ring of Death" (RRoD) because it basically means your X-box is dead. My niece was letting everyone know, in her own witty way, that her X-box had gotten the RRoD and two days after she had gotten a new game. :) I just took the gag a little further since I dropped off and picked up the X-boxes after they had gotten repaired. :)
