/grumble on ...silly vet... 'We see six puppies with maybe one hiding' indeed!... /grumble off
It is a little overwhelming since I was not in any way prepared for this many but I can't help but be very excited! :) They are just so very cute wiggling around! The girls, of course, are completely enraptured and Kent III was squealing with delight and trying to grab them this morning.
There are three females and seven males (as far as we can tell anyway). There are six Black and Rust ones (two females, four males), two Blue and Rust (both males), one Fawn and Rust (male) and one Red and Rust (female). At least that is what the numbers/genders/colors are as of 6:59 a.m., we thought we were done at 2 a.m. with eight but when Kent checked on her around 3:30 there was another puppy and at 5:30 there was yet another puppy. I will be sure to go into more detail about the whole story when I have time (and more sleep) but I wanted to at least share the good news.
Poor tired Sadie. She is such a trooper and did a great job!
We put different colored ribbons around their necks so we would know which was born when. The two greyish ones are the Blues, the light red/brownish-tan is the Fawn, and the nice dark red/brownish/auburn one is the Red.

AHHHH! I am so excited! Wow, 10 - that's quite the handful! (Armful? I don't know...). They are SO cute already. (: I can't wait to see them! Poor Sadie, hopefully she is getting lots of rest today (along with you guys!). Hooray!!

I really didn't know dobermans came in other colors! Dell loves uniqueness, he likes the rust, red, and blues, I just like all of them!
Allie is in heat right now, wish us luck on getting puppies too!
