Kent had the day off of work so we used the time to run some more errands. We stopped by the house a few times to check in with our tile guys and to look at the progress. The tile guys said because our house is old and the floor is not exactly even they would like another day to add cement 'patches' to the uneven ground. That way the floor would be as even as possible to ensure the tile laid flat. (What a difference in work ethic from the last guys!!) Mom and Dad H. generously offered to let us stay another night so we could let the tile guys do that. Thank you so much Mom and Dad!!
In the morning, since we couldn't walk on the drying cement, we only got pictures of areas where there was access from a non-cement covered area.

The tile guys were going to tile the two bathrooms, the hallway and the entryway first, leaving the kitchen last. That would allow us to move back in and have access to our bedrooms and a bathroom while they finished up on the kitchen.
That in mind, this is what it looked like even later in the day...

I think they did such a good job with the cuts around the sewer access pipe!

Among the many things we did today, Kent got some much needed cargo pants and Samantha used the Build-a-Bear gift certificate she got from Grandma and Grandpa B. for Christmas.
Samantha chose the moose to be her new furry friend.

She got to push the pedal that put the stuffing into the moose.

There is a little ritual that the workers have the kids go through as they hold the heart of their new furry friend.

Then it is off to 'wash' their new furry friend (just air comes out of the sprayers).

Picking out clothes.

You can even print out a Birth Certificate with your new furry friend's name and date of birth on it. Samantha named her moose Susan.

Feeling like a grown-up and 'paying' for her new moose.

Samantha and Susan ready to go home and be the best of pals. :)
