May the 4th...Be With You

No reading tutor today, the teacher was sick. That turned out nicely for me though since it meant I could go watch my niece Nikki play softball. :)

She plays first (she is tagging out the runner in the picture below) and is an AMAZING player. Seriously, absolutely amazing!

She does this super cool thing where she catches the ball then tags the base by doing/almost doing the splits/straddles. So cool! (Reminds me a lot of what Geena Davis' character does in 'A League of Their Own'.) But as you can see, the other team's second base coach kept walking right in front of Nikki every time she did it. Grrr *sigh* You'll just have to trust me on how cool it is. :)

Also, Kent attached the shelves of his reloading desk today. :)

Apparently today is Star Wars Day, hence the title of my post. :) I had never heard of it until today when my friend Meredith mentioned it (it also happens to be her wedding anniversary today, Happy Anniversary Meredith and Clint!) which is odd really since my cute husband is such a huge Star Wars fan (he has a life size Yoda in his office at work). Anyway...I found it funny and witty and thought I would pass it along to you so, if you didn't know, you can celebrate it next year. :)

May the 4th be with you! ;)
