May 8th

Today the girls went to Kent's youngest brother Luke's birthday party (his birthday was yesterday, Happy 12th Birthday Luke!). They were the only girls at the party. :)

On the way to the basketball court place Savannah texted me and said "Boys are weird! Remind me not to date until I am 16!"

So I texted back, "How about 20, just to be on the safe side?" :)

And she texted, "No, 16. But only group dates."

So I had to text "Ok...ok...25 but that is my final offer!" :)

She kindly ended the conversation then by not responding. :) Oh well, I tried, right? At least she is already setting her standards to 16 and group dates. And I have a few more years to work on the 'Wait until 25 years old' thing. ;)

Despite Savannah's trepidations, both girls had a lot of fun! Thanks Uncle Luke for inviting them!

I took the pills this morning and while the day was pretty intense by 10:00 p.m. I felt I was far enough along on the down slope of events that I could take my sleeping pill and not have any problems during the night.

Things seemed to go as well as could be expected today. We will see how I feel/what happens tomorrow.

After a day like today, I am once again so very grateful for a wonderful and loving husband who takes care of me and supports me. Thank you Kent! I sure love you!
