I woke up this morning and I felt good enough to let my sweet family take me to breakfast as part of my Mother's Day weekend. :) (No problems during the night and I was able to sleep pretty good.)
Here is a picture of my adorable kids at breakfast:

Kent III kept drinking the milk out of his cereal bowl like a dog...guess he is spending a little too much time with Donar and Teufel...

Ahh...the joy of having a boy... :)

After breakfast we ran a few errands and came back home. Kent said he needed to take the kids over to his parent's house to wrap my Mother's Day gifts so while they were gone I decided to take advantage of the time alone to finally use the pedicure gift certificate my friend Melinda gave me for my birthday.
Pretty, pretty! :)

I have never gotten a professional pedicure before. It was very nice! And I just can't stop admiring my cute toes. :) Thank you Melinda for the present! Thank you Kent for entertaining the kids while I pampered myself!
Savannah was so impressed with my adorable tootsies she actually asked me to paint hers! She usually hates having her toenails painted and minutes after I paint them she is scraping all the nail polish off. I am happily going to paint her toes, as well as Samantha's, and I guess we'll just see what happens after that. :)
After I got home from the salon we ran a few more errands and then started the prep work on our garden. One of the many lessons we have learned having a garden here is that planting before Mother's Day may lead to frost killing the plants. And planting too far after Mother's Day could lead to the plants dying from heat before they get a good root system. So, we try and plant as close to Mother's Day as we can. :)

Kent and the kids were going to take me out for a Mother's Day dinner but after the long day yesterday and long day today, we decided to just get Chinese food and relax at home. :)
It was a wonderful day spent working and relaxing but mostly enjoying each other and having fun. A perfect day!
